Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Keylong has started working in 2007 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2014 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building. New building of Vidyalaya is situated on Hospital Road , near Police Line, Keylong. Vidyalaya is about 1 KM from Keylong Bus Stand. It is a 1 section school. The origin of the school came from a special perspective and sensitivity. Nestled in the rugged terrains of Lahaul & Spiti, our school stands as a beacon of learning amidst the region’s harsh climate and remote location. Despite the challenging weather and isolation, we are committed to providing quality education. Our dedicated teachers and resilient students make every effort to overcome the natural hardships and create an inspiring learning environment.
